“EKO” is Toby Mykel’s statement of identity and belonging. Raised across Ikorodu and Epe, Toby wrote the song as a tribute to Lagos—the city that shaped his hustle, resilience, and sound. The chant “Awa LÁ Ni Eko” (“We own Lagos”) represents pride, representation, and the voices of young creatives building from the ground up.

Blending Amapiano, street-hop, and Afro-fusion, “EKO” reflects the movement, grit, and energy of Lagos life. It’s both a love letter to the streets and a declaration from a new generation claiming space, purpose, and recognition.
